Girl and the Sun is a socially conscious Australian womenswear label. A strong ethos of escapism feeds into a carefree spirit and laid back sensibility born of their proximity to the beach in Queensland. A range of textiles were designed for various collections, including an exclusive capsule collection available in 15 David Jones stores around the country. The approach to the seamless pattern design was simplistic and minimal, with uncomplicated patterns, hand drawn florals and beachside motifs.
